Located in West Bengal, Sunderbans is known as the world’s largest mangrove forest. Cruising through the creeks, wildlife expedition in Sundarbans gives you a chance to capture rare wild species including Indian tigers, reptiles, aquatic mammals and birds. From Sunderbans, this tour takes you to another popular wildlife destination in India – Kaziranga National Park in Assam. The park is a declared Heritage Site by UNESCO and is known as the dwelling land of Indian one-horned rhinos that only existed in the Jurassic-era. Along with the rhinos, here you can also expect to capture the sights of other wild animals like Indian Elephant, Sloth Bear, Swamp Deer, Wild Water Buffalo, Leopard, Hoolock Gibbon and more. Day 01: Arrive Kolkata

Royal Bengal tiger Upon arrival at Kolkata airport meet with our representative and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Kolkata – Sunderban

After breakfast drive to Gadkhali jetty through beautiful countryside’s, rural bazaar. Arrive at Gadkhali. Transfer of luggage and persons to our motorized boat. Briefing and interpretation by our local guide cum naturalist over Tea/Coffee/Welcome drink followed by 2 hours spectacular cruise through river Bidya, Durgaduani and Gumdi. Optional stopover at Gosaba – one of the earliest human settlements of Sunderbans to visit the house of Sir Danniel Hamilton, a Scottish banker who introduced agriculture and initiated the first co-operative movement of India here. Upon arrival transfer to the wildlife resort. Hot lunch followed by birding and game cruise to Sajnekhali Tiger Reserve. Back to the resort by evening. Dinner and overnight stay at wildlife resort.

Day 03 : Sunderban

Morning Tea, Breakfast. Full day game cruise and birding tour to Sudhanyakhali watchtower and a canopy walk at Dobanki. Lunch will be served on board. Return to the resort by later aftrenoon. Dinner and overnight at wildlife resort.

Day 04 : Sunderban – Kolkata

After breakfast proceed to Gadkhali. Arrive at Gadkhali and transfer to Kolkata. Upon arrival Kolkata transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05 : Kolkata – Guwahati (by flight) – Kaziranga National Park

After breakfast drive to Kolkata Airport for Guwahati. Meet on arrival at Guwahati Airport and drive to famous Kaziranga National park (220 kms 4 hrs drive). Check into a Jungle resort on arrival. Stay overnight at Kaziranga.

Day 06 : Kaziranga National Park

Early morning elephant safari 05:30 am to 06:30 am. Wake up call half an hour before the ride. Return back to resort for breakfast. After breakfast jeep safari (either central or western range). Return to lodge for lunch. After lunch jeep safari (if visited central range in the morning then western range or vice versa. Overnight stay at wildlife resort.

Day 07 : Kaziranga – Guwahati, 220 km

Morning jeep safari to the national park for wildlife viewing. Later return to the resort. After fresh-n-up leave for Guwahati. Upon arrival check into the hotel. In the Evening enjoy sunset cruise on river Brahmaputra. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 08: Guwahati – Shillong, 100 km

Morning after breakfast we will leave for the capital city of Meghalaya- Shillong, fondly known as the Scotland of the East. On the way to Shillong we will stop at the Umiam Lake, which is located just 15 km before to the capital city of Meghalaya. The crystal clear blue lake is about 220 sq km in radius and surrounded by the beautiful hillocks. The lake also represents the scenic beauty of the state which you will be going to explore here in next few days.

During summer period the Lake looked lush and vibrant adorned by Gulmohar trees (Delonix regia) in full blossom. The Lake commonly known as Barapani is the best place for picnics and outings. If you are travelling with kinds, then adjoining the Nehru Park will be perfect place for them to spend few thrilling hrs enjoying a motorboat rides and other activities.

Further continue drive to Shillong. Upon arrival check into the hotel in Shillong. After fresh-n-up sightseeing around Shillong visiting the Ward Lake and Hydari Park.

Later return to the hotel. Evening have a leisure walk around the famous Police Bazar. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 09: Shillong – Cherrapunjee, 60 km one way – Shillong

After an early breakfast leave for Cherrapunjee which is barely 65 kms from Shillong. It is the wettest destination in the world and on your drive to Cherrapunjee, you will come across roaring waterfalls diving into unfathomable gorges. Upon arrival visit the famous Nohsngithiang Falls, Nohkalikai fall, Mawsmai Cave.

Later return to Shillong, on our way back we will visit the Elephanta falls. Further we will have a short halt at Shillong Peak, just 18 km before the city. The peak is situated at an altitude of 2000 mt and is the highest point in Meghalaya. The peak offers breath-taking bird’s eye view of the city and the sprinkled villages nearby. The view from here is as mesmerizing in day time the night view is absolutely awe inspiring as the dwelling lights provide the ground below an aura of the night sky.

Later continue drive to Shillong. Upon arrival at Shillong we will transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 10: Shillong – Guwahati, 100 km – Kolkata, by flight

After breakfast leave for Guwahati. Upon reaching transfer to the airport to board the flight for Kolkata. Upon arrival at Kolkata airport meet with our representative and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
